Back to School 2026: Al Azhar 9 IES Bekasi Welcomes Students with an Inspiring Orientation Week

Bekasi, July 13, 2026 – Al Azhar 9 IES Bekasi officially welcomed students for the 2026/2027 Academic Year through its Back to School program and Student Orientation Week (MPLS – School Environment Introduction Program). The orientation was designed to help students adapt to the school environment while fostering enthusiasm, confidence, and excitement for a new academic journey.

On Monday, July 13, 2026, the school warmly welcomed its Grade 1 students, who began their first day of primary education accompanied by their parents. School leaders, teachers, and staff greeted the new students with warmth and encouragement, creating a friendly and memorable first-school experience.

One of the highlights of the opening ceremony was the Balloon Launch of Hope, where students, parents, and teachers released colorful balloons into the sky as a symbol of dreams, aspirations, prayers, and new beginnings. This meaningful tradition represented the school's hope that every student will grow into a faithful, knowledgeable, resilient, and globally minded individual.

Throughout the first day, Grade 1 students participated in various orientation activities, including meeting their homeroom teachers, exploring school facilities, learning school routines and values, and becoming familiar with the learning environment. All activities were designed to be interactive, enjoyable, and child-friendly, ensuring that students felt comfortable and excited about starting school.

Meanwhile, students in Grades 2 through 6 returned to school on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, beginning the new academic year with welcoming sessions, classroom orientation, school culture reinforcement, and motivational activities to prepare for another successful year of learning.
