Stepping onto the Global Stage: Al Azhar 9 Islamic Elementary School Delegates Shine at AYIMUN

From the classroom to the global stage, Al Azhar 9 Islamic Elementary School students continue to prove their readiness to engage with the world. As delegates of Al Azhar 9 Islamic Elementary School , they participated in the Asia Youth International Model United Nations organized by International Global Network—a prestigious international platform that brings together youth from across the globe.

The event was held at Pakuwon on April 11–12, 2026, offering a vibrant and inspiring international conference experience. The program began with a remarkable Opening Ceremony, where the Al Azhar 9 Islamic Elementary School choir team delivered a special performance, adding a memorable and uplifting atmosphere to the event.

Throughout the conference, students took on the role of country delegates—presenting ideas, drafting resolutions, and engaging in discussions on global issues such as climate change, education, and world peace. Each session served as a real-world learning experience that strengthened their critical thinking, communication, and confidence in speaking English.

The Al Azhar 9 Islamic Elementary School  delegates include :

The event was also attended by distinguished guests, including:

  • Chairman of the Foundation Board, Mr. Syafiuddin
  • Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed..
  • Mayor of Bekasi, Dr. Tri Adhianto Tjahyono, S.E., M.M.

Their presence emphasized the importance of global education for the younger generation.

Through participation in AYMUN, students gained not only academic enrichment but also international exposure and confidence to engage in global forums.

This achievement reflects the school’s commitment to delivering international-standard education, preparing students to become future global leaders with strong character and competence.
